A new challenge begins today at Inspired by All The Little Things! It was my turn to invite a designer - this time it's Jinny Newlin from Soaring! She made a beautiful project inspired by the the yummy inspiration photo of berries, and did a short interview so we can learn a little bit more about her!
I tried to focus on the different elements of the inspiration photo including the wood grain background. and of course the yummy berries! The first set that came to mind was the WPlus9 "Fresh Picked" stamp set. This set is retired and was happy to come out of the valut for today.
There's lots of great berry sets - I'm hoping you have one in your stash and can play along. Berries always remind me of the American flag - the red and blue together!
That cute little basket is from Reverse Confetti - it is really easy to put together because it has a solid background die, doily liner and even a handle so it can double as a bucket.I love using Tim Holtz pins for sentiments - the pin separates and holds the paper between double loop circles. I added a little gem in the center for a bit of bling. The little wood look sequins are from Serendipity!
I adhered most of the elements with adhesive foam tape. Some of them - like the blueberries, I glued to the base for even more dimension.
Ok.. now it's your turn! Check out projects from the new design team too! These ladies are amazing!
Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable basket of berries, Jeanne, love this card!
ReplyDeleteAnother stunning inspiration card for us, Jeanne! I now have a longing for a fresh fruit salad! (Actually, that's a lie. At first I thought your basket was a strawberry cupcake, then I thought it was a strawberry pie. You can see that I'm a hopeless carboholic whose mind goes right to ANYTHING but plain and healthy fresh fruit, lol!) I love all your sweet layers and those fun wood-look sequints!! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteI think I may need to add these berry stamps to my collection...
Beautiful inspired card Jeanne, whenever I see that stamp set I think I need to get it then I don't. :(
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous use for that basket--love those yummy berries! Glad your eye tests came out well, I went through something similar a year or so ago and am still doing 6-mo checks. Fortunately, no problems but it sure makes one thankful for not having a serious condition.
ReplyDeleteI remember you using this stamp set about a year ago... maybe more. Let's just say it ended up coming to my house, too!
ReplyDeleteLove your fruit theme, Jeanne. Gorgeous colours. X
