I hope you're having a great day! I've got a pretty ombre card featuring the new Petal Ribbon die to share today! This one was so fun to make. First you'll want to choose 5 solid card stock colors. They don't have to be different shades of the same color, they could be rainbow, or just colors that make you happy. Next I cut the Petal Ribbon once from each color.
I wanted to fit more flowers on the card base so I alternated the orientation of the petal ribbon die. So flip the die cut upside down on every other color. I think they would look great on a flat sheet of white card stock, but I wanted to fancy this up with a little debossing. Instead of cutting the Distressed Benson Corner, I ran it through my die cut machine with my rubber embossing mat to get the debossed impression of the die.
The Petal Ribbon flowers have a bitty hole in their centers. I topped these with little pearls. So where are you going to get all these different colors of pearls your asking? Here' my tip of the day...
I purchase white pearls and color them to match with my Copic Markers. You don't have to use Copics - any brand of alcohol marker will work. Just make sure you give them a little time to dry before you touch them.
Have I got you thinking about vacations in warm places yet? Hang in there! Spring will be here before you know it!
