Pretty Little Studio - Winter Wonderland

Are you walking in a winter wonderland? Well don't fight it! It is January after all! We had a sprinkle of snow in the Chicago area overnight and it really was very pretty sparkling in the snow like glitter! And who doesn't love a snow day? Are your kids wearing their PJ's inside out? Mine always thought that would be a sure way to get a day off school! For this card I started with a background of pattern paper from the NEW Merry and Bright collection. And there are lots of embellishments in the collection like the Wish List Shipping Tags! I threaded some red twine through the hole and added a mini lanyard with some bitty jingle bells. I found the lanyard in the jewelry department at the craft store - it's sure easy to attach small items like tags and such with them. The die cut snowman called "Sparkler #3" is color matched to the paper and comes pre-cut and ready to adhere! It's available as a "mini" or "full size". The one I used is the regular size. I love adding flairs to projects - they're like candy for the eyes. This one that says "cheer" is from the "Merry Berry" set. There are 6 flairs in the set so you have plenty to play with! The die cut note flags are perfect for stamping or hand writing sentiments for your projects. The "Navigator" set has lots of colors that you can mix and match with any of the paper collections from Pretty Little Studio.
