We have the perfect sentiment to pair up with this heavenly angel. This is my favorite verse at Christmas time... the Annunciation.
I love white and gold together.. it always looks so formal. I embossed the sentiment in gold and all the die cuts are cut from gold foil paper. A sprinkle of gold stars is the finishing touch.I embossed the angel with clear embossing powder on watercolor paper. I added Peerless watercolor in shades of blue and purple to bring out the image.
In lieu of a sentiment I decided on the Serendipity Stamps "Snow" word die cut. I scattered snowflakes from the letter "o" and added gems to their centers.

These are gorgeous Jeanne! I love the elegant gold design of the first one and your watercolor is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love the gold hues on first one, so eye catching and second creation is so pretty with your beautiful embossing and coloring!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are so awesome! I love the angel die and cut out in gold makes it look so regal! The snow angel watercolor card is a beauty! I love the colors you used for the watercolor background!
ReplyDeleteWow! So different with the bright and elegant gold to free and colorful watercolor. You are the master of showcasing a stamp!
ReplyDeleteThe gold angel and sentiment, STUNNING! Love the snow angel too :)
ReplyDeleteJeanne, I love angels and I believe in angels; in fact, I believe I've met a few in my lifetime (you, my friend, are one of them!). Both cards have taken my breath-away. The first is sheer elegance with the white and gold; the second, colourful and 'flowy', reminds me of the snow angels I "still" enjoy making (sometimes they come about as a result of my 'non-athleticism" seeing me flopped down in the snow when I attempt to cross-country ski! Might as well create an angel while I await my husband's assistance to get me back on two feet...too funny! I'm a dork!). Smiling brightly in seeing these gems!
