SSCB#48 - What's New? Twig Wreath

A new challenge begins today at Serendipity Stamps, and it's an easy one, so all of you should be able to play along LOL!! Well... I sure hope you do anyway! We begin a new challenge on the first Wednesday of every month and you get a whole month to join us. This time the challenge is "What's New?"! All you need to do is create a project using a never before used product. It could be something old that you haven't gotten around to working with, or yes, absolutely.. something you just got in the mail.

My card features two new things.. the Twig Wreath stamp from Serendipity and some new "Into the Woods" pattern paper from Stampin' Up! I love autumn and couldn't resist those oranges and yellows calling to me!

Do you love that bit of glossy accents on the waterlilly seed pods?  You can thank DT member Marybeth for that.  I'm always drooling over her shiny close ups - I hope I did you proud girl!

I almost used a pretty frame die to embellish that gorgeous wreath, but I thought something simpler would let it shine - center stage so I made a simple card stock matt with a corner rounder.  Do you love that fancy stitched scallop border?  That's from Pretty Pink Posh.. and yes.. you can find it at Serendipity.

Ready to see more?  The rest of the team is sure to delight... and we have a very special guest this month too!  I hope you'll stop and say hi to Pam Simpson at Pam's Crafts Blog!  She does such beautiful elegant work with lots of gorgeous layers that you're not going to want to miss!

Want to go shopping?  The 50% off stamp of the month is Wheel in Snow - and Mary is adding a free small cling stamp (her choice) with every die ordered.

Thanks for stopping by and check out some of that fall foliage!!
