Hi and thanks for stopping by! I hope you are doing great! We're at the half way point of the Serendipity Stamps Challenge this month - "What's New". Serendipity Stamps features a month long challenge and there is still lots of time to play! And while I've already used everything on this card at least once I've used it in a different way. Does that count? The Serendipity Creepy Wreath was introduced last month. It comes complete with lots of bitty dies so you can embellish the wreath for Halloween, but I thought it would double beautifully as a fall wreath embellished with colorful acorns.
I've gotten a few requests for a tutorial for how I make my bows and I think I'll be playing around with that soon. I've been fighting You Tube for too long. I think I'm a little too self conscious - you'll have to tell me what you think about my Chicago accent.
Those little acorns are from the Oak Leaf and Acorn Die. I cut each of them twice - once from a darker shade of card stock, and once from a lighter shade of card stock. I trimmed off the darker cap and adhered it to the light shade acorn.
The wood look sequins are from Serendipity - you can order them by color or in a mixed package. They are nice and flat and since they are a neutral color they coordinate with everything.
The stitched zig zag border is from Pretty Pink Posh and you can find it at Serendipity!
Want to go shopping? The 50% off Stamp of the month for October is the Wheel in Snow.
Mary is also adding a free small cling stamp to every die purchase - her choice while supplies last!
Just a note: The store now features a "wish list" so you can save your favorites!
