TYIC#30 - Who Let The Birds Out?

Do you love tags?  Then you need to head on over to Tag You're It Challenge and check it out!  Twice a month they feature a unique tag by one of their design team members.  It's a great place for inspiration and playing along is sure to build up your stash so you'll be ready to dress up just about any package!  Look at this yummy inspiration photo from Nancy Penir!  I love Nancy's attention to details on ALL her designs.  She gets every little thing just perfect.  The thing I love about this tag is that it's shaped!

So of course I had to make mine shaped too.  I didn't want my design to compete with that yummy cupcake so I went with a pretty die cut bird cage and then dressed it up with lots of floral "sprinkles".  I love how it turned out - I think these are both total eye candy.

I cut the cage from gold foil and the topper from white card stock. I colored up the flowers and instead of a little bird tucked inside I added a word die (just like Nancy!).  The finishing touch is a sprinkle of sequins and beads. Yummy right?
