I'm playing along today with Darnell's NBUS Challenge. She sponsors this challenge a few times a year asking you to use some of your Never Before Used Stuff. It doesn't matter if it's brand spankin new or something you just haven't gotten around to ink up! She's got something new going this time too! Lots and lots of sponsors - so you better go check it out. There's some serious blog candy up for grabs from some of your favorite companies including Waltzingmouse Stamps, The Twinery, Top Dog Dies, Poppystamps, and Serendipity Stamps.
Yep some older stuff on this one - including some of my favorite Basic Grey Paper - the Persimmon Collection, and a stamp I've used before from the Serendipity Stamps September release. So whats new? Well... My never before used stuff on this one is from Top Dog Dies - The Pocket Page Fall Die Set and Borders Two dies. They're perfect for fall inspired cards. Don't you just love that little squirrel?
I love all the pierced detail on the dies. Dies are the perfect accents for your favorite stamps!
One more picture so you can see the completed card. I used The Twinery natural solid twine to anchor all the layers and popped up pieces.
I hope you'll join Darnell's challenge! She's a real sweetie and I know she'd love to see your projects featuring some of the new or neglected stuff from your stash!
