This month's release is really summery with flowers and birds. So lets get started shall we? I made two cards for today. My first features the new bird bath! I love it! What a beautiful scene! That sweet little birdie and pretty lillies!
I wanted to let the image do all the talking so I added a bitty sentiment on a stick pin.
Do you love sequins? Maybe you've noticed these wood grain look ones I've been using alot. They come in three different wood shades as well as a mixed package. They're also from Serendipity. They look great mixed together or with colored sequins.
Do you like that stitched border? That's the latest from Pretty Pink Posh (Stitched Borders Three) and you can find it at Serendipity here. The stitched banner die is also from Pretty Pink Posh (Stitched Banner Duo 2) and is in the store as well.
My second card features the new daisy stamp. I thought it would be fun colored up in different shades of yellow, orange and red.
Sometimes I like to do my outline shading with a color vs. the usual grey or neutral tones. It adds more color and makes the images pop!
The sentiment is new also - it's called "The Earth Is the Lord's". This card was really easy to assemble and just a bit of washi and a sprinkle of sequins for embellishment.
Here's a great example of how I mixed the wood grain look sequin with colored ones. I love them together!
