So how is everybody doing? You're probably wondering what I've been up to since I haven't posted in YIKES! A whole week?!! I spent Friday with my daughter, and then the Easter cooking began! I had my parents and sister over..and then it was Monday! Time to get all the dishes out of the dishwasher, and back in the china cabinet... and get caught up on emails.
Tuesday DH surprised me with a day off. We had lots of fun visiting the Taltree Arboretum in Valparaiso, Indiana. We walked for hours through different kinds of landscape - forest, wetland, prairie. I am having a "big year" with my son. We're writing down all the different birds we see in a journal. I saw... a Red Wing Blackbird, Trumpeter Swan, and Purple Martin. Well.. I saw more than that.. but I was missing those from the list! We took Miss Moriko with us - and she got nose to nose with a potbelly pig... like hey! what are you?!! Gotta say.. both of us slept good when we got home!
I'm still making lots of projects - the thing is I never know when they will post. I'm supposed to wait until the manufacturer posts before I do. So... I guess you will have to wait a little longer.
Today I'm playing along with the latest Fusion challenge - it's called "Elegance". You can be inspired by the photo, or use the sketch. If you're daring you can FUSE them both together. I used the sketch as a guideline for my background and added some die cut stamped flowers. The bow and tag take the place of the two circles at the top of the design. I couldn't find any bright cobalt blue like in the photo so I settled with some navy. I love all the different shades of red and pink in the flowers in the photo, and tried to add as many as I could in mine.
Now it's your turn! Need a little more inspiration? Check out more projects from the design team and get details on the challenge here at Fusion Card Challenge Blog!
Have a beautiful day and big hugs to you!

I just love this card, Jeanne. You've (once again) managed to make it look so effortless. I always look at mine and can't get past the fact that they look 'hand made'. Yours just look stunning and professional. SO JEALOUS that you have your hands on new dies not yet released. Sighs!!!
