Thanks for stopping by! You picked a great day for a visit! Today we're celebrating Pretty Pink Posh's 1st Birthday! If you're hopping with us you should have reached me from Paulina's blog at Pretty Pink Posh where you'll also find all the details including hop order and info on how to win lots of fabulous prizes!! Paulina has three days packed with festivities and today is the first! I wanted to honor Paulina today so you'll see lots of PINK, SEQUINS, and BIRTHDAY designs from me today!
I didn't want to cover up that pretty background so I added a die with lots of open cuts so the background could peek through. Of course I had to add lots of sequins too - as if that shiny gold wasn't enough!
Next I made a pretty in pink birthday tag with the new "Stitched Duo 3" tag. It was fun looking around for the perfect little stamp to fit inside the stitched windows.
I embossed the Par-tay! sentiment in pink and added a glittery pink jumbo eyelet, silver ribbon, and gold edged pink ribbon. Little heart gems are the finishing touch!
I had to make a pocket card with the new die - again I used a straight stitch border edge from a previous set for the stitching at the bottom of the flap. If you have a magnetic cutting plate this is really easy to hold in place without sticky tape.
I love how the pocket perfectly matches the rounded top of the tag so they fit perfectly together.
Here's a few close ups of this yummy card.A peek at the tag on the inside.
Here's the finished card...
And the finished tag from the inside.
One last card for you... more pink - just want to show you all the different ways you can use this new die - it's so versatile. I love that I have a beautiful stitched border that is so small and light weight, making it so easy to store. I think a few border punches are going to have to find a new home now!
This one is really clean and simple. I used the border die for either side of the stamped image. For the layered side I just trimmed three pieces of colored card stock and taped them together before trimming. The mix of flat and shaped sequins create interest and give lots of sparkle and shine.
The next stop on your hop is Lisa Elton! But before you go make sure that you leave me a comment. You never know... maybe one of the lucky winners will be you. Paulina is making sure everyone gets a little something - make sure you check the Pretty Pink Posh blog for a special 3 day coupon code!!
