Another great day for a visit! Serendipity Stamps is hosting a blog hop today showing projects featuring their new Fall Release! If you are hopping along you should have reached me from Vickie Zimmer's blog Smitten. If you would like to start from the beginning you can get all the details here at Mary's Blog.
You're going to love the new Leaf Pops set we are showing today. They are available in two different styles - one is just an outline drawing of each leaf so you can color them up however you like. I think these would look great with a watercolor technique. Or the ones I'm showing today - called Leaf Pops Negatives. There is also a background stamp, as well as a companion die cut set that is designed to cut both sets of leaf pop stamps.
I made a few one layer clean and simple cards showing you some of the images in the set and how well the look stamped together in different colors.
Serendipity has lots of pretty fall sentiments like this Chinese Proverb. I love that swirly branch - it's so intricate and has so much detail. Something about it is so Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas.
For my last project I stamped a wood background and attached some die cut Leaf Pop Negatives so you can see how nice they look cut out. I stamped lots of leaves in pretty colors and then die cut them so all I had to do was arrange them.
I'm the last stop on this hop - so that's all for today. For your convenience here's a list of all the ladies who have projects for you today. But before you go.. please be sure to leave a comment. One lucky random commenter will receive a $20 gift code off their next Serendipity Stamps order.
For a second chance to win - Like us and Share our blog hop post on Facebook. One random winner will be selected from Facebook to receive a second $20 gift code. You have until 12 midnight Sunday Sept. 14 to leave a comment. The winners will be posted on Mary's Blog on Monday Sept. 15.
Thanks for stopping by and good luck!!

Love your one layers, Jeanne! The group of stamped leaves looks so pretty all laid out in a group, helps to have them all done for future cards making . Great Idea! Love the brightly colored leaves!

ReplyDeleteFabulous representations of my favorite season! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteGood idea with cutting a lot of leaves out. Then you can arrange them and not have to go back and stamp more if needed. Nice cards.

I love your photo of all your beautiful leaves! and those branches too, they really makes for some amazing cards.
ReplyDeleteHard to reconcile you and one layers, but it works when they're rich and gorgeous! Beautiful colors. Love the last card FOR it's layered loveliness!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for some nice leaves and I think these are the ones. So gorgeous. Love your cards and that big pile of leaves you stamped and cut. So, negative or positive, that is the question...... And maybe the answer is BOTH!!! Hee hee HUgz
ReplyDeleteAll are so pretty and colorful. Reminding me that Autumn is coming soon with all those pretty colorful leaves (like yours) The only problem is they don't stay on the trees long enough to be able to enjoy all that beautty! So I guess I need to buy one of these leaf stamps so I can have a longer time to enjoy the beauty of colored leaves.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards. I especially liked the first one layer card. The touch of blue surprised me, because it isn't the normal autumn color but I loved it! I also really like the third card with the pink wood background. Another nice surprise.
ReplyDeleteAll three cards are so bright and lovely. I especially enjoyed the second card. You achieved a wonderful sense of perspective with your stamping. I got the feeling that I was looking up and that the leaves were falling toward me. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite for most projects is CAS, so your cards are great inspiration for me, Jeanne. The idea of doing lots of leaves ahead is SO smart! May have to borrow (snitch!) that idea. :)
ReplyDeleteAs always, love your style with color and design! Each one is beautiful. I can't help smiling thinking about Night Before Christmas when I look at the branch now!
ReplyDeleteFabulous one layer cards but have to say I love the last layered one! Love your picture of all the cut outs and your great card where they look like they are blowing in an autumn wind!
ReplyDeleteWow! These are all so bright & colorful, Jeanne! Love them all.
