As you know, Mary likes to keep the DT on their toes and she usually adds a "challenge within the challenge" for the DT. Last time we all made Miss You cards in a CAS style - here's mine.
This time we were asked to keep with the Miss You theme and make a fussy version using the same stamped image as the time before. Here's my fussy version featuring the "Blackberries" turned raspberries!
Of course I added lots of layers, and pretty trims. Did you notice that pretty Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily? Serendipity now stocks Cheery Lynn dies - and yes you can use that 40% off coupon too!
I'm looking forward to seeing what you make and I do hope you join us at Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog! Hugs!!

I have to admit I love the one with all the layers...it just makes it a Jeanne card. The doily ,that bow,and pin...all of it make for a gorgeous card.
ReplyDeleteI would like a redo in mine.
Of course layered and trimmed to perfection, and loving the limes with raspberry and a touch of aqua with this one! Lovely Jeanne!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful, Jeanne! the CAS version is so pretty w/ all the white space & embossed frame. The fussy is gorgeous w/ the doily and pretty papers.
ReplyDeleteYummy colors, I love raspberries and French Pastries! This is another winner, Jeanne!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are wonderful but I love the fussy version a little more. Those pretty papers and doily look fantastic. I would think the berries against an all white background would stand out more but against the soft greens and pure white doily, they really pop!
ReplyDeleteI love both versions, but the fussy layered is my Favorite. I love the layering and embellishments! Beautiful coloring! I got this challenge so backwards in my notes, lol!
ReplyDeleteBoths cards are so nicely done. Since I'm a person who loves to use layers...I'm really drawn to that pretty card with all the layers...Just lovely!
