Happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend? It seems like summer is winding down so we need to make the most of it! I'm hoping I can get my act together and invite my folks over for a bbq. I did some running around early this morning and I think I have just about everything I need. My mom doesn't cook so much anymore and I know what a treat it is for them to get out and have a home cooked meal. I cleaned out the refrigerator, restocked with fresh supplies and now I need to get cooking. It's hard to feel inspired after all that packing and unpacking. I know it will be worth the effort - just need to get motivated!
Today I'm playing along with the Reverse Confetti Sketch For You To Try. If you want to play there is still time but you better hurry!! I'm addicted to sketch challenges. I can look at a shape and start to imagine different ways to build on it. Color challenges? Not so much. Still working on those. I guess my brain thinks a little different! LOL! Big surprise there huh? Not! I couldn't wait to get my new "Fresh & Fruity" all inked up. I recently discovered Impress Fresh Pigment ink and they color these solid images so evenly. I know ... where have I been living? I thought I had enough ink pads and have tried other pigments before, but these are amazing. There's just so many great products out there all waiting to be tried!!!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! So many beautiful elements -- the background paper, the music paper, the lemons and leaves that look like they're falling. Awesome take on the SFYTT!

Love your lemons card! The bright yellow with the caramel-y brown in scallops, flowers and doily is great pair. So very nice.
