Happy Thursday! I hope you're having a great day. I stayed out late last night. My son had a Track meet and wow can that kid run! He's a senior in high school this year so we're trying our best to go to every single meet no matter how near (or far) from home. His relay team placed first in the 4 x 400, he got 2'nd in the 800 M and his relay team in the 4 x 800 got 3rd. So a good night. When I got home it was dark already but I still got to take the dog for a walk. I'm out of shape. All the snow this winter kept me indoors for the most part, now I'm trying to make up for it. Binkie is totally happy with that - she loves sniffing around the neighborhood looking for rabbits!
Thursday always means a new challenge at CASE Study. Our muse this month is Jaclyn Miller of Designs by JAX. Check out the inspiration photo for this week. You know the drill... study the photo, focus on what inspires you , and then make it all your own. So what do you see? Bright colors, repeating patterns, stars, hearts, the sentiment on the angle? Since I'm nuts about dies I zoomed right in on all those layers of die cuts. But how to make it all mine! I made a base of a quilted pattern and topped it with eggs and bunnies. I stuck my sentiment smack dab in the center and went with a pastel color palate.
One little tip I can pass along if you want to play with your dies? Start with the center panel with the stamped sentiment. Make sure that is nice and straight and then line your die cuts right up to that. Everything will fit perfectly together that way like a puzzle. I tried starting with the quilt die cuts and got some seriously crooked lines!
Need a little more inspiration? Check out what the design team came up with for this one. We have a special guestie this month too!! Catherine Pooler from Basics and Beyond blog.

Love this card. Those rabbits look like solid chocolate--yum. My dog loves to sniff for rabbits, too. And, he has almost pulled me off my feet trying to actually catch one of them. Congrats to your son on his track meet.
