Another cold and snowy winter day in the Chicago area! The weather man says there is up to 7 inches headed our way before the day is over. I've been starting to day dream about walking on the beach, and sitting in the sun in the yard. Good thing I have my crafty hobby to keep me busy - and thinking positive thoughts!! Today I'm playing along with Fusion Card Challenge. Here's the inspiration photo - you can work with the photo, OR the sketch, OR both. I decided to do both. I saw the string of circles and decided to turn them into hearts. Can you believe it's February?? It was fun to go through all my supplies and find all the little hearts that I could. This is a collection of all sorts of dies and punches (Martha Stewart, Quickutz, Spellbinders).
This one was lots of fun - and if you'd like to play along there's plenty of time - its a two week challenge!

Gorgeously Jeanne!! Love all your little heart baubles... they're perfect for this! And no snow, thank you! We haven't had any snow other than flurries... but we've had enough cold to last me for the 10 years... I'm sick of winter!! :)
Yay!!! I just knew you would come up with a stunner for this week's Fusion challenge. You combined your elements to cover every aspect of the sketch and photo Jeanne. I love the combination of die cuts and the way the twine strings dangle on the sides. I really like that idea...and those gold keys? How did you think of that? So cute with the red locket. I also really like the subtle embossing of the pale pink layer. Really pretty card!
This is a Valentine! Love the colors and those gold keys are the perfect touch of WOW Jeanne. Thank you for visiting The A Jillian Vance Design Blog today and leaving a comment on my DT post. Hugs.
So beautiful Jeanne! I love the banner you created and that gorgeous Serendipity sentiment! A lovely Valentine! Did I ever tell you that I lived in Glen Ellyn, Il. when I was a child? My Dad worked at the Sears Tower in downtown Chicago for many years. Then we moved back to Seattle where both of my parents are from originally to take care of ailing parents and be with family but we still have lots of friends in the Chicago area. :)
Great take on the sketch and I love all the details on the card. Thanks for playing along with us in the Fusion card challenge and hope to see you again.
Gorgeously Jeanne!!
