Here's my favorite way to wrap up the month! It sort of makes saying good bye to February a celebration really. The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who just happen to be addicted to paper crafting. Every month one of us packs up a bunch of supplies - patterned paper, stamped images, embellishments like ribbon, die cuts and gems for the rest of the group. On the last day of the month we all post our creations that we made. It's always interesting to me to see how different we all interpret the kit.
Sometimes I receive an item I'm not sure what to do with or struggle to put in my design. I think this month it's going to be the wooden snowman. He didn't give me any trouble but I'm anxious to see what the rest of the ladies did with it.
Our hostess this month is Renee Lynch from It's a Patchwork Life. Just look at all the wonderful goodies she packed in this kit for us. I would call Renee a CAS gal, but oh my!!! She totally thought of everything in this kit. Seriously .... whatever your style ... you would have no problem here! We received Crate Paper Patterened Paper, Sparkly sequins, Ribbon, Glittery Die Cuts and oh so much more!! I try to not add too many extras to the kit and use only what I've been given - that wasn't too hard this time. It was so easy to make lots of cards. I actually had to stop myself from making more! So you've been warned lots of photos here! We usually switch up the theme every month. This time it's all about SNOW!
A complete list of designers and ingredients can be found on the 12 Kits of Occassions Blog - there's a sneak peek for each designer so you can quickly see their style and links so you can hop to their blogs! We also have a guest designer this month Judy Marino! I hope you will give her a big hello! You might also win an upcoming kit so you can play along with us!

Wow. You really outdid yourself this month Jeanne...LOVE what you have done with Renee's kit. I love the coloring of the cute kids and snowman...the snowman inside the polaroid frame is my favorite...love the coloring and the snowflake in the middle of the "O". You would never know you are sick of snow and Winter around your house because these are show stoppers!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun collection. My favorite is the last one. Love snowmen
ReplyDeleteJeanne, what an amazing assortment of beautiful cards!!! WOW! I agree, the kit this month was chock full of goodness! I especially adore the glittery snow on your pink and white "let it snow" card. Brilliant!
ReplyDeletetotally adorable!! Love all the shimmery parts especially the multi-colored hills!! love them!!
ReplyDeleteSorry I cant help you with the wooden snowman I did not use him yet, but I will. Love all your cards Jeanne, that last snowman on the white is my favorite! Oh I like the wooden sm card too!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Jeanne! You did not disappoint me with your cards, they are all just incredible. My favorite one is your second card. I love that vintage looking image, so sweet. Looking forward to cas'ing you.
ReplyDeleteWow, Jeanne. What a bunch of gorgeous and delicious cards. You do not look like you are stumped by that wooden snowman--I love what you did. I was stumped, and I still have my guy. If I had a Christmas tree, I would have turned him into an ornament. All your cards are so wonderful, and I think my favorite is the little scene you colored in with the children. So vintage and sweet.
ReplyDeleteJeanne you created such fantastic projects this month, all of them. I love how you added the snow die cut word over the tag, love your bold paper choices and how you combined them, the tree on the snowy hills is so cute and way to finish off with a cool CAS card! ;) Wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing collection, Jeanne! You are always able to beautifully arrange elements and incorporate patterned papers. Love your more CAS designs too! The colored glitter and bluebirds look so sweet on your pink card. And I adore the fantastic design using the polaroid frame.
ReplyDeleteOh my that TREE with the pinks and the bluebirds! GORGEOUS! And I am so loving that last snowman card! I can't get enough of that image, I must have him come live with me as of this week. Your coloring is so inspiring right down to his rosy cheeks! I think your wooden snowman is perfect with the newspaper text and the vintage feel to the mix of embellishments. I have yet to use mine, but I see crackle paint in his future ;)!!
ReplyDeleteJeanne, there are so many I love this time! The MFT snowman in the Polaroid with all the white is just too cute :) The pink sky? I never would have thought about that, but it looks awesome! Loving the curly-q ribbon on the tag, but I'm really loving the wooden snowman card, all the different elements are awesome!
ReplyDeleteThese are a snowy, snowy delight, Jeanne!! You have made all of them in your stunning and recognizable Jeanne-style!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteOMGosh Jeanne...
