Today marks the beginning of the latest monthly challenge at The Ribbon Reel Challenge! The inspiration photo was chosen by Michelle and you are kindly asked to use gold, silver and of course some ribbon! I wanted to capture the elegance and opulence of a nostalgic New Year's Eve with a gold embossed deco flapper, layered gold die cuts and a sprinkle of gold and silver sequins. You can find all sorts of gorgeous metallic trims at the Ribbon Reel Shoppe.
I added a die cut clock with silver glitter background - counting down to midnight of course, the white paper background is also embossed with clocks. The trims are black satin topped with a silver crochet lace.
Looking for more inspiration? Check out designs from the rest of the design team here.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you make! Oh and if you're interested - the Ribbon Reel will be having a design team call out very soon!!
Hugs!
