I made two versions of the same card - one all fussy here:
And one clean and simple. I stamped, window cut and embossed the front and placed it over the stamped village scene. I couldn't resist adding a little bling - a baby twine bow and the same ribbon flower as on the first version.

Both so sweet Jeanne! love the village in the candy jar!
ReplyDeleteJeanne dear these are both lovely! I love all the details on the first and the embossing and jar window on the second! Gorgeous cards!! And so very excited for the dies! :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this idea! PERFECT in just red and green.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute and darling cards!!
ReplyDeleteNow this is just adorable! I love your little scene - its like all those fabulous little jelly jar snowglobes popping up on Pinterest! Major cuteness. Love this die, too!
ReplyDeleteLove that your version of CAS still includes a little bow...just not as big or poofy as your fussy version. This is so pretty with those village images stamped in red and green. I like that you used traditional colors for the village but pretty blue for the rest of the card. Great combination Jeanne.
ReplyDeleteAdorable Jeanne!! Here I thought I had already purchased and received the new stuff!!! Love these new dies!! Hope you survived the weather yesterday!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea of the stamped village in the candy jar! With that sweet sentiment! As always a gorgeous bow.....then you go and make the CAS soft blue embossed card.......I LOVE that look too! Same stamped idea done both fancy and CAS brilliant!
ReplyDeleteHow cute, charming and clever to put the snow scene in the jar!! Love these cards!
ReplyDeletethis is too cute. it reminds me of a snow globe. just shake it up!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards Jeanne! I am super excited about the latest WMS release - especially the dies to match the stamps that I've already got! I have told Santa that I've been a good girl this year, so I'm hoping he'll listen and head on over to the Waltzingmouse store!
ReplyDeleteI love 'em!! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are both just perfect...
just love that snowy scene in the candy jar...
I die! :)
Oh, my! I just adore those little, alpine towns in jars! What a fun idea! Waltzingmouse never fails to deliver ;). Great job, Jeanne!
ReplyDeleteThese are both just gorgeous. A perfect little scene in a jar. Such a clever idea.
ReplyDeleteInstead of "Oh my stars" I am saying "Sweet scene is a jar!" from now on, heeee! That is too adorable and creative for words. Love them both, but the sweet impressed background with the mini snowflake topper stole my heart today ;)!
ReplyDeleteNow this is Christmas! The snow, the village and that sweet little candy jar, you are so clever. This is just so sweet.
