The DT takes turns posting on the Poppystamps blog and today is my turn! I made this card with the new Woodland Berries stamp. I inked up the image with Copic Markers, trimmed it and then created a slightly smaller matt of colored card stock. I embossed the cover of the card and wrapped ribbon around it securing it on the front before I placed the image there to conceal the adhesive. I topped it with a seam binding bow topped with a button. The sentiment reads "Thank you so much" - I just inked up the "thank you" so I could fashion it into a little tag. I trimmed it to size, rounded the corners and punched a hole for the string.

ReplyDeleteSuch a great embossing folder you used with this one...the berries are so pretty...love the shading and I even think I see some gray around the branches for highlights...or am I seeing things? Love your pretty pink bow too.
ReplyDeleteThe pinks are the perfect softness to POP when compared to that bold and fabulous background. The design of it looking like a gift...I love it! Beautiful card Jeanne. I feel silly saying that because, duh...of course it's gorgeous!!! :)
