Serendipity Stamps sponsors a challenge twice a month. Its a great place to play and see creative ways to use your stamps. You might even win $20 off you next order at Serendipity Stamps. The challenge this time is to create a tri shutter card. I've seen these around in blog land and I have to tell you they looked mighty complicated to me. I have to admit it was really quite easy - and image how impressed your recipient will be. There are lots of tutorials on line, but I got mine here at Splitcoaststampers. They are my go to for all things stampy that I haven't tried yet.
I mixed up lots of patterned papers and kept the orangey theme running throughout.
Here's a close up of the sentiment on the inside.
If you need a little more inspiration check out what the rest of the design team made for this challenge. And please welcome Karen Amidon - our newest member!
I hope you will give this challenge a chance - maybe you will be like me and learn a new trick. And before I forget ... everyone is a winner because the sale this week (Sept. 11-18) is free shipping on all continental US orders of $10 or more. If you've been spying up that new bird die - now's your chance!

ReplyDeleteWow, look at that beautiful trade-mark orange! This card is a stunner...not exaggerating at all either! I love that it is a complicated tri-fold card, but all of the orange patterned papers blend and your eye goes right to the beautiful flowers...perfectly colors!
