CS#144 - Summertime!

Summer has just started here - I finally got my garden in, planted all my pots (can't leave them out all year here because of the cold), and bought some hanging baskets (instant gratification there)!  I guess I am just curious by nature because every year I look for the most unusual thing I can find in the green house.  I like to see how different things grow.  Winners in the past?  broccoli, okra, heirloom tomatoes... this year?  You'll never guess!!!!  Peanuts!  I've never seen these grow and just had to buy them!  I only bought two plants in case they decide they want to take over my garden - I can't wait to see what happens!

Well check out this inspiration photo folks!  I see lots of good things here - a rainbow of colors, the alternating feathers, the black stamping over the colored swatches.... what inspires you?    I turned the feathers into shoes in alternating colors!  Bright colors always remind me of summer and this image is so fun!
