Have you seen the previews of the new Country Labels 4 and USA 1776 sets from Waltzingmouse stamps? The sets officially hit the Waltzingmouse on line store today so the design team is celebrating with a blog hop of their own. You should have gotten here from Edna's blog if you are following the hop. If you'd like to start from the beginning - the complete list is here at the Waltzingmouse Makes blog.
I wanted to show you a few projects I made with the Country Labels 4 set. They coordinate perfectly with the Spellbinders Labels 4 die and they are packed with country charm. I couldn't help but break out the gingham and twine to make a country inspired thank you. The label is simply stamped in red ink and die cut. I topped that with a scallop die cut and an oval cut sentiment. I stamped the cherries in pink, and the leaves in soft green to create a watermark effect.
I also made a tag to tie around a cellophane bag of yummy home made peanut butter cookies. I added a big bow with a button hot glued in the center to make it ready for the giving.
The next stop on your hop is the sweet Jen Cuthbertson's blog I'm Crafty - I know she's going to blow your socks off! OOOOh, but before you go - make sure you leave a comment - Waltzingmouse is awarding one random commenter from all the blogs a stamp set of their choice. You have until June 1 at 5:59 a.m central standard time to leave to enter. Good luck to you and have a great day!!!
Big Hugs!
Jeanne
