CASE Study 141 - Quilted Mom

First I wanted to share some happy news.  Our fearless leader Iwona, A.K.A. Chupa from Random Acts of Creativity and creator of CASE Study is a new mom of baby Julia - I hope you will visit her blog and share a little love - she's got lots of great pics of her and baby there! Now back to business... Are you loving Case Study this month or what? Our muse this month is Maile Belles from Simply Stamped! Pure clean and simple goodness here folks so no excuses!

Check out the inspiration photo! Just work with what inspires you - could be the pattern, the colors, maybe its the hearts. Just make something inspired by the photo and link it up over at the Case Study Challenge.  I was immediately attracted to the repeating pattern and that's the way I went. I grabbed a quilt pattern - got stamping!  I hand fun playing with colors and stamping each little section of the quilt.  I tried to pick up some of the colors from the inspiration photo including the pop of turquoise that I got with the pin.  Hopefully you can see how the original photo inspired me to come up with this.  The same ... yet... different.  Right?

Hop on over to the rest of the CASE design team sites to get even more inspired.

  1. I just love this. It is so beautiful. I can just imagine how wonderful this would look as a quilt. And, I don't have these stamps, but something kind of similar from WPlus9, and you are giving me all sorts of ideas for that set.
