Thanks so much for stopping by! For the next few days the Waltzingmouse Design Team will be showing previews of the new March releases that will be available in the on line store on Friday. I am so egg-cited! Today we are previewing a wonderful Easter/Spring set called "A Good Egg". I got a little carried away with this set and made lots of samples - I know you have lots of blogs to visit so I will keep it short and get straight to it!
The set has lots of pretty Easter eggs that can be configured in so many ways! Here are just a few examples:
There are even cut files that will make it so easy for you to stamp lots of these in no time at all! Treats are a big deal for my family at Easter time. When my kids were little I made loads of bags for their friends and to send to school for their classmates. Now that they are older everyone still loves candy and it is easy to dress up a little treat bag for friends and dinner guests to take home. I mean who doesn't love Peeps and chocolate??? For this kraft handled bag I just added a big bow and banner of striped pink grosgrain and adhered a medallion. I made them in lots of different colors that reminded me of Easter egg colors to make them fun and festive. For the small treat bags below I die cut the boxes, assembled them andadded a pre made medallion. I thread grosgrain through a punched hole on the boxes and then ran twine through a button and around the grosgrain to hold it in place and make the ends of the ribbon stand up. The big shiny colorful buttons look like candy and make these even more fun. No more wondering what to do with all those big buttons in your collection!
I also made a card to show off the versatility of the set. I just got carried away stamping those sweet little bunnies and chicks! They are just adorable.
Hop on over to the rest of the DT members and see the fun things they made with this set! Just click on their names below.
