Today I'm playing along with the Cloud WPlus9 Blog Hop March Challenge. Check out this gorgeous inspiration photo - I love all the color in the beautiful flowers and the soft watercolor background. I immediately went searching for a flower stamp and stopped at this beauty in the Very Vintage Greetings set. At first I stamped it in brown and was going to color it but my goodness! It is so pretty it doesn't need to be colored. I played around with stamping them in a pattern that was flattering to my eye and then added some blue green foliage from Woodgrain Silhouette Additions. To get a bit of the hot pink in the background I added a few flourishes from Very Vintage Florals.
Supplies Used: Finished Size 5.5" x 4.25" Stamps: WPlus9 Wood-grain Silhouette Addition, Very Vintage Florals, Very Vintage Greetings Ink: Momento Tangelo, Rich Cocoa, Angel Pink, Cantaloupe, Rose Bud, Stampin Up! Baja Blue, Pool Party Cardstock: WPlus9 Oatmeal, Stampin Up Baja Blue
Love how you used three different colors for the flowers--so pretty! The florals & soft colors make such a lovely sympathy card. I have quite a few WPlus9 sets but hardly any flowers. I tried a couple of things this morning but still haven't gotten a card done. Good thing we have three days!!
Gorgeous!! Love that big bloom... I don't have that one and I'm stuck on what I can come up with for this gorgeous pic... I think my brain is tired. :( But I knew you would create a beauty... you always do! :)
Wow, I dont know if I have ever seen you make a single layer card. This is stunning and has lots of detail with the different stamped colors. Beautiful!
This is gorgeous Jeanne! I love love their stamps and have many on my wish list. Wish I could find that money tree! :-) You make it hard to stay good with your beautiful creations with my favorite companies! I am lucky to be designing for two of them! :-) This is a stunner!
HELP! I've fallen and I can't get up! I am SO in love with the colors here, especially the teal-ish blue leaves, Jeanne!!! You're just so fabulous! Thanks for playing along with us this month!
