Thanks for visiting with me today! I'm excited to tell you about the new Paper Sweeties release. If you aren't familiar with Paper Sweeties they are a collection of dolls with coordinating outfits and accessories to dress up. They remind me of the paper dolls I loved when I was young and used to play with for hours. There are also several sets of sentiments that you can use independently for just about any occasion. For the next few days (February 13-16) the Paper Sweeties Design Team will be featuring the new February release of stamps. The new stamps will be available in the store on February 15.
Debbie Marcinkiewicz is the designer who created Paper Sweeties. You might also know Debbie as the creator of The Shabby Tea Room Challenge Blog. So this new release is a real natural - tea themed sentiments and accessories for the girls including teapots, teacups, plates of sweets and a beautiful Victorian inspired outfit that any of the ladies can wear.
I wanted to use colors and chintz patterned paper that reminded me of china to tie into the tea theme. I knew I couldn't go wrong with a doily at tea time and I couldn't resist adding that little tea tag on a string. Here's my finished card.
I hope you will hop on over to the rest of the DT blogs and see some other beautiful examples featuring the new February release. This one should be pure shabby chic, but you never know!
