Cloud9 - January Blog Hop - Happy New Year
Do you love WPlus9 Stamps? Well who doesn't right? I have been buying them a few sets at a time - and got a few more for Christmas this year. I must have been very good! I thought I'd try my hand at the Cloud 9 Blog Hop challenge and put my new stamps to good use. A few of the stamps I got are Christmas themed but I think they work well with this New Year's theme. Check out this yummy inspiration photo! I am lovin' all the kraft and silver glittery goodness!
Chupa is the guest designer for this blog hop too! I can't wait to see what she came up with for this one!
I picked up a few of the elements I saw in the photo like the stars, clothespin, sheet music and pennants to add to my design. I got the sentiment by masking off one of the sentiments in the Iconic Christmas set. The doily is cut from silver foil paper, the clothespin was dipped in silver glitter, and the circle designs are all embossed with a silver glitter embossing powder. Here's a few close ups and my finished card.
I stamped the little ledger on a bitty kraft bag - I was thinking New Years is always the time we make resolutions and here's a spot where you can start your list. The Peace, Love and Joy are my wishes for the coming year.
Thanks for stopping by - Have a beautiful day!
Jeanne
