Are you gearing up for Thanksgiving? My house is still in disarray from the home improvements we are making but that won't stop us from having a big Thanksgiving dinner. There will always be room around the kitchen table for family and a feast to be had! I usually start cooking the day before Thankgiving - making pies, prepping veggies and preparing casseroles that can be easily placed in the oven so I have time to sit and talk! I thought it would be a good time to pull out these great turkey images from Serendipity in honor of the upcoming holiday!
There are two size turkey stamps - the large one I made into a card, and the smaller one into a pretty tag that I will attach to a loaf of pumpkin bread for my mom and dad to take home! I colored them up with Copic markers and then layered them on some die cuts. I am entering my card in the Ribbon Carousel Challenge "Fall Spirit". One random winner will receive a Ribbon Carousel!
I am entering this tag in the Cheery Lynn Challenge Blog - challenge this week is Tag You're It! You must make a tag using at least one Cheery Lynn Die.

ReplyDeleteJeanne, your tag is beautiful, the Dutch Tulip doily makes a great tag. Good luck and thanks for joining in on the fun at Cheery Lynn Designs challenge blog.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous your colouring is fabulous. Caroline xxx
ReplyDeleteDrop dead gorgeous!!! I love these, what great coloring you did on those turkeys Jeanne...love your coloring, almost as much as all the layering and bows you make. If your tag doesn't win, they are crazy at Cheery Lynn and your photography staging with those pretty jewels is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow, Jeanne! This may just be the most incredible coloring I've seen on a turkey this season. Gorgeous card and that bow is superb.
ReplyDeleteLove them both but, that tag pulls my heart string!! Fabulous images and ribbon!! I too spend Wednesday evening on pies, prepping veges....anything I can do the day before!! We do more salads than casseroles (everyone's favs) but, my older daughter helps now-which is good since my vege cutter (Bill) is one arm/hand short, LOL!! Have a great Thanksgiving!!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow...just so amazing! And then you made two of them too...so stunning and beautiful, if your dinner is a yummy as your cards are beautiful, I will be at your house for dinner.
ReplyDeleteWow, your turkeys are so beautifully colored! Both are wonderful but I could just drool over that tag! The layers and bow treatment are amazing! Looks like a winner to me!
ReplyDeleteBoth are stunningly gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteLove the patterned papers on the first one...
and die over that bow on your tag!!
