Case Study Challenge #65 - Butterfly Flutter

I'm trying to squeeze this one in under the wire.  Here's the Case Study Challenge sketch by the November  muse / designer Kryssi Ng.  Competition ends at Midnight today - hope it's not Australia time or I'm done for!

Here's my take on the sketch:

I double stamped each of the butterflies and fussy cut them to add some dimension.  I made the antennae with colored wire and added pearls and gems that I colored with a Copic marker to get them just the right shade of turquoise.  I didn't have a sentiment stamp that suited me so I made my own in Word.
Sorry this is so last minute - in fact I'm not sure I even made it in time.

Supplies Used:  Finished Size is 5" x 7"
Pattern Paper:  Colorbok Flea Marked
Embossing Folder:  Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) Intricate Swirl
Stamp:  Martha Stewart Doily Lace Butterflies
Ink:  VersaMagic Turquoise Gem, Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Antique Linen
Marker:  Copic
Sentiment:  Word Font Felix 22 Pt.

  6. I am so going to get those doily lace butterflies. They are so good! This is a gorgeous card, love those wire antennae. That embossing folder really goes so perfectly with the butterflies, the swirls are almost like antennae. Great job, hope you made it in time because this is a good one!
