Waffle Flower July Release and Giveaway !

Thanks for stopping by ! I hope you've enjoyed the sneak peeks of the Waffle Flower Christmas In July release! The wait is over today is release day!

I love this release! There are three new postal collage sets, a sketched poinsettia, retro Christmas images, a new paper pad and lots more!

It took me a long time to get on board with stencils. I'd never been successful with getting clean lines and smooth images. Spray adhesives would leave tacky dots behind and I was just unhappy with the end result. The Waffle Flower Grip Mats have been a game changer for me. They hold your paper and stencil in place so you can be "hands free" and ink cleanly.

So it goes without saying that I'm really proud of how these Die N Stencil poinsettias turned out. There is not a separate leaf stencil/die. I just inked the poinsettia in green and cut the petals apart for the leaves.

To add a retro feel to my design I added a Overlapping Christmas Words stenciled sentiment and a Tiny Diamond background. I layered the background panel over gold glitter paper for some added sparkle and shine.

Waffle Flower July Release Day 3

It's Day 3 of the Waffle Flower Christmas In July Release Sneak Peeks ! The new release will be available TOMORROW! July 5!

Today we're going retro! These are newer styles that will be reminiscent of images from the past including Overlapping Christmas Words, a Retro Tree Stencil/Die Combo and this cute Fa la la llama!

The Llama on this design is stenciled and die cut. This is a 4 die, 5 stencil set. First you stencil the layers of the Llama. The coordinating die set will cut out the outline.

If you look close you will see that there is a separate die for the muzzle of the llama - you don't have to use this piece - the same design gets inked on the bottom layer too. I popped this piece up with adhesive foam tape to add dimension.

There are separate die cuts to add detail to the llama like the eyes, nose/mouth and circles for the cheeks and hat pom pom that I didn't use. There is a coordinating stamp set with some punny sentiments perfect for pairing with your llama.

The background papers are from the new Season's Greetings Paper Pad. It's A2 card sized and the papers are thick and glossy.

Waffle Flower July Release Day 2

It's Day 2 of Waffle Flower Christmas In July sneak peeks. The new release will be available in the store on July 5. Today we're showing peeks of pretty poinsettias!

We've got new stencil Sketched Poinsettias and Die-n-stencil Poinsettia as well as a Stenciled Poinsettia Background. I'm showing the new Poinsettia Cluster Die!

This die set includes two florals, evergreen sprigs, berries, pinecones and more. I had fun cutting and arranging them to make this floral design. The background paper is from a new paper pad called "Seasons Greetings"

I want to mention that there are no poinsettia leaves in this set. I simply cut the poinsettia flower from green cardstock and then cut apart the petals to make leaves.

The sentiment I added is from the new Family Christmas stamp set that includes sentiments that are perfect for personalizing cards for friends and family and includes sentiments like "From Our Family to Yours", "Merry Christmas From All Of Us", and "Wishing You Both A Merry Christmas".
