Waffle Flower Rose Bouquet

Thanks for stopping by! Today I'm sending you a heart bouquet of ROSES using a fun stamp and stencil combo set from Waffle Flower.
First you stencil the background heart, and then you stamp the detailed roses. A coordinating die set makes it easy to cut your stencil/stamp image. The stamp set also includes a bow, and a pot with some foliage you can color and add to your design if you like.
The stamp set also includes the sentiment "You are Loved" that I stamped on a Scalloped Circle die cut. If you look close you'll see the pretty pierced design that reminds me of a pretty doily. The Scalloped Circle die cut set includes 5 nested circles perfect for layering.
The pattern papers I used are also from Waffle Flower. These are from the Christmas Dots and Lines Pads but they look great all year round. I love that the sheets are thick enough to be folded in half to create an A2 size card base. If you cut one sheet in half it will cover two card fronts and the colors are coordinated to work together.
I'm entering my card at Double D Challenges where they're looking for cards that include a heart in their design. Better hurry if you want to play.. there's only a few days left!
February is for hearts and Valentines but I think we all need a little love each and every day!

Hello Darling!

Hello Darlings! I hope you're having a fabulous day! Today I'm sharing a card made with the Pretty Little Studio Miss Sadie Rose Collection. This collection is a nostalgic look at classic 60's style when fashion icons and trendsetters appreciated the minimal, modern, and ladylike look with matching accessories like pillbox hats and handbags.
The colors are soft and feminine with a touch of black thrown in for lots of drama. I'm smitten with the beautiful roses in the collection that are total eye candy.
My card starts with a background of pattern paper topped with a Patchwork Journaling Card. I embellished the card with die cut Rose Garden blooms adhered with adhesive foam tape for dimension.
The "hello darling" sentiment and stitches are actually clear stickers available in this collection. I love that they allow the patterns underneath them to show through.
Everything I make has to have just a little bit of bling. I added some blue sequins for jus tthe right amount of sparkle and shine.
Have a great day!

It's a Good Day!

Hi Friends! I hope you're having a great day! I'm in need of a little pick me up so I made a happy card with bright citrus colors to share today.  I'm joining along at Hand Stamped Sentiments because they have this amazing inspiration photo this time!
So grab your favorite cacti set and lets get stamping!
I started by stamping the Multi Step Cacti. The layers are easy to stamp and line up. The pots were colored with Copic markers, and all of the images were cut with the coordinating Multi Step Cacti Confetti Cuts.
I used the Elemental Stripes stamp set to create a "Southwest" style background for the beautiful cacti. A stamping tool makes the borders easy to space and to achieve clean inky coverage on the solid stamped images.
The sweet message is from the Sentimental Sayings stamp set. It includes lots of sentiments sure to make you smile. I love the mixed fonts that give them a fun look perfect for any occasion.
I hope this sunny card finds you smiling! Keep looking up and always happy thoughts!

Tender Flowers Slimline Window Trio

Happy Friday! It feels like it's been a long week for me! It's been super cold and snow just about every day since last weekend. We should all have amazing biceps by now with all the shoveling. I'm just glad we have all we need so we didn't have to venture out much.

I've been thinking about spring lately and the return of some color to my world. Don't get me wrong... the snow is beautiful, but I think I've had my fill for this year. LOL
This slimline card foundation is made with the Waffle Flower Slimline Window Trio. The die set includes the tri cut stitched frame, stitched window inserts and some extras too like a few hearts, squares and stitched circles.
To fill the windows I inked up the window inserts with distress ink to coordinate with my flower colors. If you look close you'll see that the little windows are stitched and that I used two distress ink colors on each one.
I inked and colored the Tender Blooms florals and then die cut them. I used the window dies to help me decide where to cut the florals before inserting them in the window as another layer.
I hope you find some time to make your own "happy" today! I'm entering this card in two challenges.. Cute Card Thursday where they're looking for slimline cards, and The Sisterhood of Crafters where they want you to use the word "Smile". Have a great weekend!

Reverse Confetti & Hero Arts Better Together Hop

Hi Friends! Life is better together! It's Hero Arts 45th birthday and their honoring some of their favorite friends and focusing on friendship, giving and community. To celebrate they've collaborated with Reverse Confetti on this new stamp set! We're celebrating with a blog hop. If you're hopping along you should have reached me from Lisa Henke's blog. If you'd like to start from the beginning you'll find all the details here at the Hero Arts and
Reverse Confetti blogs.
I made two cards with similar color schemes and techniques to keep them coordinated here. My first card features the Better Together florals on the On A Curve background panel. The bottom layer is a distress oxide ink panel.
I love the two layer leaves, flowers and flower stamens. Everything is easy to line up and very forgivable if it's not exactly perfect. The scallop stamp is a separate piece and it's die cut gives plenty of room for adhesive to assemble.
I didn't want to cover up the pretty backgrounds of this card so I stamped the sentiment on vellum with Versafine Onyx Black ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder.
My second card shows two beautiful blooms on a Center Circle Cover panel that I topped with a Circle Rays Duo Confetti Cut.

The flowers are easy to assemble. I adhered them with adhesive foam tape and then tucked the stems and stamens in underneath the raised flower. This adds dimension to the card.

The set includes several inspirational sentiments that will have you smiling and the clean modern flowers are just so happy no mater what colors you choose.
I'll let you in on a little secret too ..this set was designed by Ellie - the daughter of Reverse Confetti Owner Jen del Muro. If this is her debut I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
The next stop on this hop is the amazing Amy Tsuruta!!

But before you go I hope you'll leave a comment. PRIZES!!! $50 gift cards to TWO lucky winners, drawn from comments left across the blog hop. One gift code will be to the Hero Arts store, and the other to Reverse Confetti. Comment on the hop by Thursday, February 25th at 11:59pm pst. The more blogs you leave comments on, the more chances to win!

Here's a complete list of all the designers with projects to share today!

Jeanne Jachna (That's Me!)

Good luck and happy hopping!
