CAS-ual Fridays - I Love You More Than Coffee!

I hope you're having a great weekend! It's Memorial Day tomorrow, so maybe you get an extra day off! Why not grab a cuppa your favorite, a good book and enjoy a little R & R (Rest and RELAXATION) ?
I'm posting on the CASual Fridays Blog today with this coffee themed card. It was created using several different products from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.
I stamped the To Go Cup with florals from the Peace & Comfort set. I topped the cup with a kraft card stock sleeve and sentiment from Coffee Talk. The die cut "coffee" is from the Coffee Cup Fri Die set.
To "ground" the cup so it doesn't look like it's floating I added solid card stock panel to the bottom of the distress inked background. A Lovely Links Fri Die cut along the bottom adds weight to the bottom of the card.
I embellished the cup with die cut roses and foliage from the Garden Fri Die set. Wouldn't this be a treat to wake up to?
Have a wonderful day!

TupeloDesignsLLC - A Garden

Happy Friday! It's my day to post for TupeloDesignsLLC. They're one of my favorite stores! It's wonderful to find all my favorite brands all in one place. Shipping is FREE every day (no coupon required USA Only - discounted rates International).
I love when my hobbies overlap. I'm a gardener and if the weekend is fine I'll be working on getting seedlings planted. If I'm really energetic maybe some patio pots will be arranged too!
This stamp set from Right At Home called Let Love Grow speaks to my heart. I love the pots, vegetables and flowers. I arranged all the die cut images on a distress ink background.
The distress ink is applied to the background using a stencil brush. The brush makes a soft clean ink background - no dauber impressions are left behind.
Want to go shopping? I hope you'll give TupeloDesignsLLC a chance - there's always something new to discover.

Pretty Little Studio - Rainy Day Adventure

I'll be the first to admit that I can appreciate the power of Mother Nature. Thunderstorms, hail and floods have made me wary of a dark sky. At the same time I'm the sort of person who loves to sit on the porch when it rains. I love to breathe in the humid air and listen to the pitter patter sound the raindrops make. Everything is good in moderation!
The Pretty Little Studio Potpourri Collection is filled with different elements of nature (think raindrops, leaves, and animals). The collection colors are pastels in a soft watercolor wash.
The plaid Favorite Season paper is topped with an End of Summer 3x4" journaling card with a cascade of colorful hearts printed on it.
The die cut umbrella is adhered with adhesive foam tape to add dimension. The sentiment is made up of several of stickers from the So Much Beauty Sticker Sheet.
Shower on the love with this beautiful collection!

Fusion Card Challenge - Coral Flowers

I hope you're having a great day! Are you looking for a challenge to play? A new challenge begins at Fusion Card Challenge today! Here's the inspiration for this time! It's called Coral Flowers!
I'm usually attracted to the photo first. I love the striped background, dimensional flowers and soft colors. Maybe you don't care for the photo? That's ok - play along using only the sketch portion of the challenge. If you're feeling really clever you can FUSE the two together!
I almost started water coloring stripes on paper, and then I remembered this Big Stripes Cover Panel from Reverse Confetti. It makes the perfect background for this challenge!
You know I love die cuts! So I cut lots of Flowers For Mom Confetti Cuts in pink, white and orange. I added enamel dots for the flower centers to add a little bling.
The die cut "Happy Birthday" is from the Sentiment Essentials set. I added some extra Leafy die cut sprigs in Lime and Avocado to add even more color.
Now it's your turn! Click here to jump to the Fusion Card Challenge blog where you'll see more designs from the rest of the team and get all the details on how to link up your own design! We can't wait to see what you make!

Spellbinder's Shapeabilties - First Adventure

Today I'm playing along at CASology - the cue word this week is THRILL.  A thrill is the sudden feeling of excitement or pleasure.   My card today features a child's discovery.  I don't know if it was more thrilling for my kids to discover something, or for me to share in their delight and think to myself "my goodness.. my child is amazing!"  It truly is a wonderful world with little thrills and pleasures to be found everywhere - every single day.  All you need to do is look!
Spellbinders was one of the first companies I fell in love with when I started crafting several years ago. Their nested window dies were innovative and exactly what I was looking for - an easy way to cut stamped images. The quality has always been excellent and it still is today.  But as more companies have their own coordinating dies I've rediscovered Spellbinders.  They're still creating innovative new designs that are unique and beautiful.

You can see the latest release here. They have an amazing collection of silhouette dies created by Sharyn Sowell perfect for celebrating precious moments like baby's first birthday, playtime, tea party with teddy, and this one called First Adventure.

I created a simple distress ink background for this clean die cut image cut from white card stock. I love this image of a child discovering the little bird on the foliage, it brings back many heartfelt memories.

If you haven't checked out Spellbinders in a while it's time to give them another look!
